The Cavaliers Drum & Bugle Corps is an award-winning marching music ensemble that participates primarily in the DCI World Class Championships Tour over the summer. I was commissioned by the percussion section of the Cavaliers Drum & Bugle Corps to design branding to be printed on basketball jerseys for the members and staff.
Branding for this project was intended to be related thematically to the Cavaliers’ 2018 production, On Madness and Creativity, and the gear graphic is symbolic of one of the traditions of the Cavaliers to wear small, hand-crafted gears on their corps necklaces as indications of how many years the member has spend with the corps. This jersey required a two-color print on both the front and the back with plastisol ink.
