Pulse Percussion Jerseys - 2019

Pulse Percussion is a prestigious, award-winning percussion ensemble hailing from Westminster, CA that competes on a national level. I was approached by some of the members in the ensemble who wanted jerseys made to commemorate their 2019 season.

For inspiration, I drew from some of the preexisting imagery and mock-ups done for the show floor and props being used for Pulse’s 2019 production, “Divided We Fall.” The show used music by John Lennon to tell a story of the consequences of refusing to work together, and this is symbolized by a broken peace sign on the bottom left area of the front of the shirt.

The thing that made this particular project interesting was the multi-application facet of the production process. This jersey featured 2-color screen printing on the chest, 1-color printing on the bottom left corner on the front, 2-color printing on the sleeve, 2-color printing on the back, and custom text which was printed above the number.
